Stadiums are Commercial Buildings Right?

Environmental Leader posted an article July 23rd titled: 10 Reasons Why Sustainable/Energy Retrofits of Commercial Buildings Will Be The Next Big Thing  (lin below) http://www.environmentalleader.com/2012/07/23/10-reasons-why-sustainableenergy-retrofits-of-commercial-buildings-will-be-the-next-big-thing/

"According to the US Department of Energy, commercial buildings account for 35 percent of US (and 40 percent of global) electricity consumption. Existing commercial buildings on average spend 30 percent of their operating budgets on operating costs and account for close to 20 percent of all global carbon emissions."

Granted, stadiums aren't "on" as often as commercial buildings- but they are also a lot larger than some.  I think it's safe to say they average out and definitely fall into this category of electricity consumption.  As we've seen, there are many stadiums who have undergone great changes and strides towards energy efficiency.  The trend needs to continue!!
