Seattle's Safeco Field- Low Waste Baseball

 Go Mariners, go!

The composting and recycling programs at Safeco Field, home of the Seattle Mariners, kept 81% of their waste from reaching the landfill this season.  These programs saved the organization $95,000 in waste recovery fees.
According to a fan, there are only compost and recycle bins on the stadium's concourse- no trash cans!  You can even pick yourself up a bag of "Safeco Field Soil" made from the stadium's compostable waste products.
