POW: Protect Our Winters
This non-profit organization was established in 2007 and works to mobilize the snow sport industry in work against climate change.
POW's Hot Planet/Cool Athletes educational program partners with The North Face and Alliance For Climate Education (ACE) -- "giving pro athletes a platform to speak to high school students about climate change and inspire them to become the next generation of climate leaders".
